It’s great when children love the arts. That’s why it’s such an amazing thing to enroll your toddler in ballet! She can now be like the ballerinas she loves so much! You’d be hard pressed to find a better activity for your child than ballet.
You’ll be pleased to know there are students that show a correlation between involvement in the arts and performance in school. It can also help her develop social skills. You’re definitely doing the right thing by encouraging her enrollment in ballet, that’s for sure!
It’s important to make sure she gets a great start after you have signed her up for the ballet class. Having her meet her teacher can go a long way toward increasing her comfort level. Of course, you’re going to want to stay with her during the class until she is a bit older. Most ballet schools happily accommodate this and have a window available where parents can look at their little ballerina.
